PRODUCTS THAT VIOLATE SAFE MARKETPLACE RULES
- Sale of products that praise organizations/communities linked to terrorism or any crime, that include insults against Turkish identity, Atatürk, or national and moral values, or that display emblems of terrorist organizations, criminal organizations, or racist groups.
- Sale of products that may contain ethnic, national, religious, political, or cultural discrimination; that are incompatible with fundamental values such as human rights protection and freedom of thought; and that include statements or visuals that fuel social polarization and conflict.
- Sale of products that contain visuals or statements that insult or demean a living being or a community, or that include violence directed at them.
- Sale of products containing statements or visuals that may be considered to encourage violence or harmful substances, for the protection of children and young people.
- Product images containing obscene/explicit content, for the protection of families and children.
- Uploading product images that could be considered as displaying a child’s body is not permitted. Therefore, not using live models for children’s clothing products will help your products be approved more easily.
- Sale of products intended to attack or drive away animals.
- Sale of fur obtained from live animals raised in fur farms (Fox, Rex, Astrakhan, Mink, etc.) and exotic animal skins (Snake, Crocodile, Foal, etc.).
- It is contrary to regulations for products sold online to include “health claims” (e.g., heals wounds, helps eczema, regrows hair, etc.) that can only be attributed to medicines. Products containing such statements are rejected with a request for revision.

- Ammonium Nitrate and Fertilizers containing nitrogen derived from more than 28% ammonium nitrate by mass
- Military Equipment / Police Equipment
- Official Uniforms
- Pepper Spray and Stun Guns
- Lock Picks
- Stolen Goods / Products with Removed Serial Numbers
- Walkie-talkies: Low-power short-range radio devices and systems that fall within the scope of the regulation on Short-Range Devices (KET) are excluded.
- Hazardous Telecommunications Devices
- Encrypted Broadcast Decoders and Decoders Belonging to Encrypted Broadcasters
- Listening Devices, Hidden Cameras
- Attack Tools and Software Cracking Programs for Use on the Web
- Alcoholic Beverages
- Ethyl Alcohol / Methyl Alcohol / Methanol
- Tobacco Products / Electronic Cigarettes and Complementary Parts
- Narcotic Substances
- Products That Help Pass Drug Tests (Narcotics, Alcohol tests, etc.)
- All Types of Contact Lenses / Prescription Eyeglass Frames
- Medical Devices: Only medical devices for which a “Sales Center Authorization Certificate” is provided can be listed for sale. Products without the certificate will not be listed. Medical devices that cannot be used by the patient on their own, that require the assistance of a healthcare professional, or that are intended only for use by healthcare professionals cannot be sold.

- Prescription / Over-the-Counter Medicines
- Veterinary Medical Products
- Herbal Medical Products / Homeopathic Medical Products: Herbal products that claim (on the box or in the product description) to have the same effect as any medical drug or to treat any disease cannot be sold.
- Enteral Nutrition Products / Foods for Special Medical Purposes, Infant Formulas for Special Medical Purposes / Sports Nutrition Products: Products that claim (on the box or in the product description) to have the same effect as any medical drug or to treat any disease cannot be sold.
- Cosmetic Products: In cosmetic product promotions, the following statements/implications cannot be used: 1) claims to treat or prevent any disease, help its treatment, diagnose it, or correct/regulate/alter a physiological function; 2) claims implying physiological functions are renewed, corrected, or altered as a result of pharmacological, immunological, or metabolic effects; 3) claims referring to the effect of human medicinal products.
- Agricultural Pesticides and Spraying Machines: For the sale of plant protection equipment/machines and agricultural pesticides, sellers who do not have the “Dealership Permit Certificate” issued by the provincial directorates of the Ministry of Agriculture are not permitted to sell these products. (Authorization is not required for hand/garden tools.)

- Fresh Food Products that Must Not Break the Cold Chain or Must Be Consumed Daily
- Products Prohibited by the Ministry of Health or the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock

- Seat Belt Adapters
- Pornographic Content and Products Related to Sexual Activity: Pornographic visuals cannot be used for products. Fantasy clothing/accessories and products intended for sexual activity may be listed with a +18 label, provided that live models are not used in images.

- Promotional Products and Student Publications Provided Free of Charge by the Ministry of National Education (MoNE)
- Stocks / Bonds / Treasury Bills / Virtual Currency
- Cultural and Natural Assets
- Medals and Decorations: State Medal of Honor, State Medal of Pride, State Medal of Distinguished Service, State War Medal, State Order, Republic Order, and Order of Merit cannot be sold.
- Goods Whose Trade Requires Government Authorization
- Smuggled and Import-Prohibited Products
- Books and Publications Subject to a Recall/Seizure Decision
