・Note: Paris Convention (1926), Washington Convention (1943), or Vienna Convention (1968) permits NOT accepted

③ Foreign Driver's License + Japanese Translation

・Valid for: Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Slovenia, Monaco, or Taiwan

・Must include official Japanese translation AND present passport

・Translation must be from: Country's embassy/consulate in Japan, JAF, or (for Taiwan) East Asia Relations Commission

・Valid for 1 year from Japan entry date or license expiration (whichever is earlier)

・Persons on the basic resident register who leave Japan and re-enter within less than 3 months will not have their re-entry date considered as their date of landing for driving eligibility purposes

④ SOFA Driver's License (USFJ)

・Military ID required (Military Driver's License NOT acceptable)

・Must provide copy of international driving license for confirmation
