Day 1

Halong Bay / Halong bay Seaplane
Make your way to Tuan Chau Marina for an 11:30am or 2:30pm departure, and board a fixed-wing seaplane that seats up to 12 people. Take off from the water, rising over Halong Bay and heading for the islands. Keep your camera at the ready throughout the trip, as aerial photographs are the best way to capture the grand scale of Halong Bay, and the vast number of islands and rock formations that define the Gulf of Tonkin coast. You’ll see Dau Be Island, whose sheer cliffs are a destination for rock climbers and adventurers, then fly past Cong Do Island, where the sinuous coastline shelters hidden lagoons. Pass over Bo Hon Island, and try to spot the caves and grottoes that pock the island’s water-eroded rock formations. After 25 minutes of flight time, touch back down at Tuan Chau Marina, where this tour concludes.
