New Zealand farm rears purebred Friesian cows and maintains a pure line of cattle. In order to maintain the quality of milk the cows are provided with a rich diet and sterilized water. Excellent health care are given on a 24 hr basis. Here one can see the largest grasslands of Sri Lanka and is also a part of the Ambewela farm which manufactures dairy products, such as milk, cheese and yoghurt and could be seen by visitors.

Ambewela farm is situated in the lush green hills of Nuwara eliya, ambewela farms are made up of two farms, ambewela farm and New Zealand farm blessed. . few Km away from Nuwara eliya. The New Zealand Farm is a part of the Ambewela Farm which are both dairy farms. New Zealand Farm is located only 3-4 Km away from Ambewela farm.
Evening at leisure and visit Hakgala Botanical Gardens
Hakgala Botanical Garden is one of the three botanical gardens in Sri Lana. This is the second largest garden in Sri Lanka. The garden is contiguous to Hakgala Strict Nature Reserve in Nuwara Eliya. The gardens is believed to be the highest set botanical gardens in the world.It is situated on the Nuwara Eliya - Badulla A5 Highway, 16 km from Nuwara Eliya. Travel time from Spring Acre is approximately 25 minutes. Hakgala Gardens was established in 1861 as an experimental cultivation of Cinchona, a commercial crop thriving at the time in Nuwara Eliya. There are over 10,000 species of flora planted here and during the Nuwara Eliya spring
